Welcome to my website!
My name is Andrea Feltz, but most know me by Dre.
I grew up in Minnesota surrounded by the unyielding love of my mom and dad. I had a relatively stable childhood because of them. They exhibited constantly support and compassion within their relationship which in turn taught my sister and I what a strong and stable human connection looks like.
As middle school and high school flew by, I found myself thinking deeper and questioning more than those around me. I wanted to find ways to utilize the privilage that I had so luckily been dealt in my life. My first step towards this journey was venturing to Ndola, Zambia to work with the Dominican Sisters. This experience sparked a fire inside me. It exposed me to new ways of thinking and living that I had never imagined. So, I went back the next summer as president of the club and made it my mission to share this beautiful experience and Zambian perspective with as many people as I could.
Santa Clara University was my the next step in my journey, working towards a BA in Management and Studio Arts. As college came around, I found myself constantly searching for opportunities and adventures to learn more about myself and the world around me. I volunteered in San Francisco often, joined many clubs, and made wonderful connections with the students and professors I was coming into contact with.
Then came a special opportunity that changed my path in many ways. I was awarded the Global Social Benefit Fellowship through the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship. I began studying social entrepreneurship, impact strategies, and sustainable development in many different lenses and perspectives. I spent the summer of 2019 living and working in Bolgatanga, Ghana for social enterprise All Across Africa. I learned more than I ever thought was possible.
Now, as a senior, I am searching for the best way to utilize my experiences and skills to manifest sustainable and beneficial impact in any environment I inhabit. I have a passion for creativity and human expression, and have found great success in utilizing my creativity to develop alternative approaches within the business realm.
Some additional passions of mine include cooking, sharing laughs and engaging in meaningful conversation, finding ways to reconnect with the planet and environment, as well as a deep practice and study of yoga. I look forward to what my future holds but also am mindful to find deep love and joy within present moment.
If you would like to connect further or have any questions about my work, please do not hesitate to reach out.
